Oh, to have your own English estate to escape to once in a while. This is Gela Nash-Taylor's little "cottage". These pictures were published in American Vogue's September issue 2009. Nash-Taylor is a co-creative director and co-founder of Juicy Couture. I find so much inspiration in these pictures, even though it is very over the top. Or maybe that is why! Fashion Vintage Barbie Style!

Yesterday we were invited for dinner at my parent's place. My daughter was playing with my moms old Barbies. Wow! Barbie had some serious fashion back then! I had to take some pictures with my phone just to show you.

That floral dress should have been part of HM:s Garden Collection, right? I would have bought it right away!

Sunday outfit

Today I am wearing the skirt and tights I bought yesterday at HM. Shoes from Gabor, Wrap cardigan from La Redoute, tank Tommy Hilfiger and the necklace is the ASOS Short Cluster Pendant.

Outfit of the day! And other rules I broke......

Yep, that's right. Outfit of the day. This blogging thing is an interesting journey. It seems to me like it is a lot like raising your children. You start out with a lot of principles, ideals and rules. Along the way, well something just happens. :) I think it might be called "life". So, I was totally NOT going to post outfit of the day pictures. I have abandoned that idea. And in my early teens I claimed I was totally NOT a skirt and dress type of girl. Yeah, right!  So here comes the outfit I wore today!

Blazer thrifted Strenesse, wool sweater Mango, dress HM, scarf used to be my moms in the seventies, tights Åhléns and cuff Forever 21.

Thrifted shoes. It was actually spring this morning when I got dressed, can you imagine?! Then I went shopping with one of my girlfriends, helped my little brother move into his new place and went to my sister-in-laws birthday party and BOOM! It started snowing and suddenly it's winter all over again.

No, I am NOT in desperate need of a visit to the ladies room. My husband wanted me to hunch so he could get all of me in the picture. This was taken on our front porch and he didn't want to step into the snow. Maybe we need to practice this photography thing...

I just wanted to show you the earrings I wore. The double C:s come from a pair of thrifted clips. They broke and I added a pearl and some earring hooks.
